The Pilates Nook offers small group classes on the Reformer, Tower and Mat. We incorporate a range of Pilates props in our classes for added challenge and interest including; arcs, hand weights, foam rollers, balls and bands.

For those unfamiliar with the Pilates apparatus, the Reformer is a moving carriage with sprung loaded loops for hands and feet, the Tower is a fixed bed with sprung loaded loops for hands and feet and the Mat is just that! You will work with your own body for resistance on the mat.

Each class follows the core Pilates principles and will address the needs of the whole body including; posture, strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. Individual attention is our teaching strength at the Pilates Nook and with a maximum of 6 clients in our small group classes, you will be guided and assisted as required by our team of experienced instructors. Whether you are looking for a Pilates class for beginners or something more challenging, our group class timetable has something for everyone.

If you are very new to Pilates, we recommend you start with a private or duet session before joining our group classes. Our classes are not suitable for 3rd trimester pregnancy or anyone with an acute injury or pathology. Personalised studio private or duet sessions would be best if this sounds like you, so please contact us if you have any questions before booking online.
